I am a research scientist and co-founder of Neutune. Neutune is a startup that provides music/sound digital products based on the latest AI technology that will give creators the best experience.
Research Interests
I mainly conducted research on deep learning for melody extraction and singing voice detection. My current research interests include semi-supervised learning and similarity search based on musical features.

Between 2006 and 2014, I studied for a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. Between 2010 and 2012, I served in the R.O.K Army Military Band. In 2016, I completed my Master’s degree with Music and Computing laboratory (MAC) of Graduate school of Culture Technology (GSCT), KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea. In 2021, I completed my PhD thesis GSCT, KAIST, under the supervision of Juhan Nam. Now, I am a research scientist and co-founder of Neutune, a startup that provides music/sound digital products based on the latest AI technology that will give creators the best experience.
